Admission cards for the Graduate Engineering Aptitude Test (GATE) will be released today at gate.iitkgp.ac.in. The exam will take place from February 5 to 15 in two shifts. Entry for admission to PG courses at IIT, IISc, as well as a gateway to government jobs, will be held for 29 subjects, including two new subjects: Geomatics Engineering and Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering.

IIT Kharagpur, the exam organizing institute, previously announced the cancellation of Sonepat, Panipat and Idukki as exam cities. Which implies that the exams will not be carried out in these places. The list of cities and exam places for each student will be mentioned on the admission card. The GATE 2022 admission card will also have other instructions to follow on the exam, including dress code and Covid-19 protocol.

GATE is a three hour exam. Includes multiple-choice questions, numerical response type questions, and multiple-choice questions.
