How to download the Covid vaccine certificate through WhatsApp

Step 1: First you need to save this number +91 9013151515 in your contact list and then leave a ‘Hello’ message on WhatsApp. This is an official MyGov Corona Helpdesk chatbot, which allows you to download the certificate in less than 30 seconds.

Step 2: Once you send that message, the chatbot will display a list of coronavirus-related topics. In the same list, you will also find the option “Download certificate”. You just need to type “2” and send it to chat.

Step 3: The chatbot will show the options related to vaccination again, so just type “2” and send it to the messenger app. This basically means that you are asking the bot to submit your vaccine certificate from the CoWIN platform.

Step 4: After this, an OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number, which you will need to send in the chat.

It should be noted that if your CoWIN registered number is different from your WhatsApp number then you will not get OTP. Therefore, users will need to download the certificate using the government’s Arogya setup app, which also takes less than 60 seconds.

Those who get OTP, the chatbot will display the names of the people who are registered on the site online with that number. You can then select your name and request your certificate.

How to download the Covid vaccine certificate using the Aarogya Setu app?

Step 1: Open the Aarogya Setup app on your smartphone and visit the CoWIN tab. It should be noted that if you haven’t used this app in a while, you will be prompted to log in again.

Step 3: Now, you need to enter your beneficiary reference ID, which is usually obtained at the time of vaccination registration.

Stage 4: Once done, just tap on the ‘Get Certificate’ button and then you are good to go. The application will give you a PDF of the vaccine certificate.
