GAMERANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

According to a recent report, some rendered images of a couple of upcoming AMD Navi 24 cards have been circulating. In particular, the images show the Radeon RX 6500 XT and the RX 6400. Additional details suggest that they will be more entry-level GPUs, with 4GB of RAM on possibly a 64-bit bus and with only 1,024 cores. This makes them much less powerful cards than, say, the RX 6900 or RX 6800, which have four times more memory. Click here to see the images.

With the ongoing technology crisis caused by a lack of enough semiconductors, companies like Intel believe the shortage could continue until 2023. This means that the three tech giants may be on the verge of launching a large amount of hardware in an uncertain market. in which consumers are struggling. to get hold of any new graphics card. Even if they can, they will likely have to pay well above the MSRP for the privilege, which will put off many people given how expensive things can be.

It doesn’t end there either. AMD has already raised the prices of its RX 6000 series by at least 10%, which will have a ripple effect when they go on sale through retailers.
