UPTET paper leak: 12 Noida, Delhi firms under STF lens | Lucknow News

Lucknow: The Special Task Force (STF), investigating the UPTETquestion paper leak, found that the Delhi-based company that was awarded the contract to print the question papers had actually outsourced the work to various units of printing press in Noida and Delhi.
This was revealed by Rai Anup Prasad, the arrested director of the company that obtained the government contract. There are indications that some of these printing units did not have a printing press and therefore outsourced the work to someone else.
On November 28, UPTET was canceled after a question document was leaked on social media, leading to the arrest of 38 people. At least 20 lakh students were scheduled to write the exam at 2,736 centers in two shifts.
A high-level STF said the UPTET paper leak occurred due to the involvement of various agencies. “Rai Anup Prasad had outsourced it to agencies that did not have printing facilities and these agencies had passed the order on to other agencies,” STF officials added. Up to 12 companies that were awarded a contract to print question papers have come to light. STF officials said that according to the rules, the printing of any exam is kept secret until the day of the exam. However, Rai Anup Prasad compromised the entire process.
